It is a day long prayed-for by many a pilgrim, and worked-for by the late postulator of her cause, Father John Paret SJ, the former director of the shrine at Auriesville who always received us with such generosity of catholic heart.

Let all thanks now be to God for so great a gift to the Church Universal and to the church in America.
